I, Michel Boot, completed my master degree in industrial design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design in Copenhagen (Denmark) in 2015. I have worked as a designer for GripGrab ApS in Denmark for three years where I focused on cycling accessoires. I rejoined the team again for two years as freelance designer after a break. This was also the moment that Mixel Design became a real company based in The Netherlands.
I am open to new challenges where I can utilise and expand my knowledge and skillset.
As a designer I like to dive deeper into a design brief by doing different types of research and translate the findings into new ideas and eventually the fine details of a final concept/prototype. I also like to work visual during this process with both traditional media as digital software.
I also try to look beyond the end result of a project and reflect on the design process and see where improvements can be made for next projects.
