I'm Michel Boot, a product designer who sees the complete picture—from physical products to digital interfaces.
My foundation started with a Master's in Industrial Design from the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. Over 6 years at companies like LEGO, GripGrab, and OrbitalLocker, I've learned that great design happens at the intersection of physical and digital experiences.
At GripGrab, I led user research with cyclists, developed award-winning accessories, and implemented Stage-Gate methodology to improve how teams work. At LEGO, I prototyped playsets that brought imagination to life. Now at OrbitalLocker, I'm building design systems and mobile experiences that connect entrepreneurs with investors.
My approach is rooted in Design Thinking: understanding users deeply, prototyping rapidly, and iterating based on real feedback. Whether sketching concepts, conducting user interviews, or refining digital interfaces, I focus on creating intuitive experiences that work in the real world—not just on screen.
I'm drawn to challenges where physical and digital contexts intersect: healthcare tools, IoT products, cycling technology, and systems where users move fluidly between devices and physical tasks.
Whether you're exploring collaboration opportunities or just want to learn more about my work, I'd love to hear from you.
